Licences
Craft and plugin licence status across the fleet
Each site works out its own licence position and reports the answer, not the key. You see Craft edition, plugin entitlements, trials still running in production, and licences bound to the wrong domain.
Fourteen days, no card. Craft CMS 5 and later.
Licences are remembered, not tracked
Plugin licences renew annually, on dates spread across the year, bought by different people on different cards. The record of them is usually a spreadsheet that was accurate in March.
The visible failure is a plugin dropping into trial mode on a client site, or a Craft licence that still points at the staging domain after a migration. Both are quiet until somebody sees the banner.
How licence state is reported
-
Craft evaluates its own licence
The connector reads the state Craft has already determined, on the server where the licence is installed.
-
Each plugin reports its entitlement
Valid, trial, invalid or mismatched, for every commercial plugin the site has installed.
-
Only the answer is sent
No licence key, for Craft or for any plugin, is ever transmitted or stored. There is no field for one.
-
Problems open a finding
An invalid or mismatched licence is a high-severity finding. A licence still in trial is medium.
What you see
Craft edition per site
Solo or Pro, so an edition downgrade or an unlicensed Pro install is visible from the fleet list.
Trials running in production
The plugin that went into the build during a sprint and never got bought.
Domain mismatches
A licence issued for one domain and running on another, which is the usual residue of a site migration.
Requires no credentials
Manager holds no Craft Console account, no card and no plugin store session. It reports what the site already knows.
The outcome
You find the licence problem when it appears rather than when a client sends you a screenshot of the banner.
Read how it works
The documentation lives in the public repository, next to the code it describes, and every page carries a link to edit it.

Find the Craft sites that need attention first

Alerts for the issues that need a person
Four events, by email or webhook, filtered by severity. Queued, so a slow endpoint never delays a site report.
