Read it before you run it

The control panel, Craft plugin and all other required repositories are open source and fully viewable in GitHub. Every security claim on this site can be checked against the code rather than taken on our word.

It is the same software either way. The hosted service is this code, run by us, with managed key wrapping and storage attached. Self-hosting it is free and gives up no capability.
